This self-initiated illustration and print project was created for Suicide Prevention Day, using visual storytelling to communicate hope and approachability around a sensitive subject. The artwork centres on a figure reaching from darkness towards light, acting as a metaphor for reassurance, connection and the possibility of support beyond moments of crisis. A warm yet restrained colour palette, expressive character design and clear, accessible typography were used to balance emotional depth with clarity, ensuring the message could live comfortably across posters and printed collateral in everyday spaces while encouraging conversation and reminding viewers that there is light on the other side of the abyss.
