Through The Lens: Winona Ryder.

The Light Cinemas hosted a nationwide Winona Ryder retrospective. I was commissioned to create the season’s posters and trailer, with complete creative freedom over aesthetics and direction. For the posters, I illustrated key scenes from Ryder’s most notable films, adopting a bold, vibrant oil painting style that juxtaposes her fierce on-screen intensity. To enhance this aesthetic in the trailer, I layered an interview excerpt over an atmospheric techno beat. The challenge was to avoid a dated or overly delicate look, something I believe I successfully balanced.
