Unifying the Menu Experience.

This project involved redesigning the food and drink menus for The Light Cinemas restaurants across 13 sites, each of which previously had its own menu style and varying offerings. The challenge was to create a single, cohesive menu system that could unify the brand while remaining flexible enough to accommodate site-specific variations. The solution focused on a modular design approach, using consistent typography, hierarchy and layout principles that could adapt to different content lengths, categories and formats without losing clarity or brand recognition. The resulting menu framework streamlined the customer experience across all locations, improved legibility in low-light cinema environments, and provided a scalable system that could evolve alongside each site’s individual offering.

Moments That Matter.

This bespoke illustrated calendar concept celebrates the small, meaningful moments that shape our year. Each month features a custom illustration designed to capture everyday experiences and seasonal rhythms with warmth, colour and narrative detail. The project transforms a functional print item into something more personal and reflective, showcasing my approach to illustration-led storytelling through considered composition, character and mood.

Each piece was designed to enhance the in-venue experience, balancing bold visual impact with clear communication across multiple sites. The work adapts to different formats and environments while maintaining a cohesive look, supporting film promotion and brand presence throughout the cinema spaces.
